Quinn Design Associates was retained to plan and design the landscape for Marriott Waterpark Hotel in Aqaba, Jordan on the coast of the Red Sea. Our firm explored a number of ideas for the client including an extensive series of wading pools, artificial streams, waterfalls, infinity pools, wave pools, terraces, cabanas, patios and spas. Our work embraced unique site features such as the gulf frontage to design an impressive breakwater, lush plantings, spectacular rock walls and a secluded beach area.
Our firm understands the unique design issues of hotels and resorts and how to create an oasis-like setting that both serves as a local landmark and responds to the surrounding urban context. With every project, we play a key role in collaborating with the project owners and architects.
